Daily Nutrition offers you a base of over 240 stock formulations – all of which you can private label. Daily Nutrition offers a low, minimum order of only 144 bottles per item under your own label. This allows you to get started with your private labeling without having to incur a large, upfront fee.

Daily Nutrition labeling is a service that has been offered by Daily Nutrition International for more than 15 years. You may choose to apply your own label to any of more than 240 stock products or you may elect to establish your own brand name on one or more custom formulations that are exclusive to your company.

 

Daily Nutrition employs a dedicated, on-site art department that can design custom labels around your brand. Daily Nutrition also has an on-site print department that can facilitate the fulfillment of your custom labels.

 

Do you already have artwork or labels for your products? Not a problem, Daily Nutrition can take your pre-designed artwork or your pre-printed labels and integrate them seamlessly into our production line. This gives all our customers the maximum amount flexibility while eliminating extra and unneeded steps.

How are your labels printed?

Inkjet label printer on an ultra-high gloss synthetic label material.

Laser label printer on a semi-gloss material with a gloss laminate coating. Laser label printer on a semi-gloss material with a matte laminate coating.

Can I name the formula and make nutritional claims on my label that are different than your Daily Nutrition stock label?

Yes, but Vitalabs reserves the right to refuse the design, printing and/or application of labels with questionable content.

 

Can I change the Supplement Facts panel on stock formulas?

No, Vitalabs' panels are set up to be accurate, truthful, and follow FDA guidelines for dietary supplements.

 

Why do I need an address or phone number on my label?

This is an FDA requirement. Your label must always include all 3 of the following:

Your company name

a street address OR a PO box OR a phone number

a city, state, and ZIP code.

 

Can I put a GMP logo on my labels?

Absolutely! We have stock logos you can use for this purpose or you can design your own using the text "sourced from a GMP-certified facility".

 

Can I put the FDA logo or "FDA approved" on my label?

No, the FDA does not approve diatary supplements. However, you can make the claim that the product is "manufactured in an FDA registered and inspected facility". We also have logos for this purpose.

 

Can I put a barcode on my labels?

Definitely! you can supply us with a FNSKU or UPC code if you have already purchased it. We can also provide barcode for your labels.

If You Want To Design Your Own Label - Proofing Package:

(Price includes proofing and prepress preparation to provided artwork.)

Daily Nutrition will send to the provided email address all of the text information required by the FDA such as Supplement Facts, Allergen Warning, size of label, Cautions and Suggested Use in .pdf format.

 

Design File Requirements:

All art work provided must be at least 600dpi built in either Adobe Illustrator (.AI, .EPS), CorelDraw (.CDR), or as a Vector PDF with all font files provided or all text converted to outlines (paths/curves). If unable to provide art work in these formats additional charges may apply. 

 

Please Note: Labels built in JPG, PSD (photoshop), PDF or any other raster formats will have to be rebuilt at an hourly charge. You must provide to us your distribution information that is required on your label. (1. company name, 2. domestic address* or phone number, 3. city, state and zip code)

 

*NOTE: Section 403(y) of the FFD&C Act (21 U.S.C. 343(y)) requires the label of a dietary supplement being marketed in the United States to include "a domestic address or domestic phone number through which the responsible person ... may receive a report of a serious adverse event with such dietary supplement." If the label does not include the required domestic address or phone number, the dietary supplement is misbranded. A full address or phone number is required.

 

If You Want To Send Pre-Printed Labels on a Roll - Starting at $125 Per Label:

(Price includes proofing of provided artwork.) If you would like to send printed labels into our facility for one of the products you have ordered DAILY NUTRITION MUST PROOF YOUR LABEL DESIGN before accepting for production to make sure label corresponds with all product and FDA requirements. This applies to NEW and REPEAT orders! Do not send labels without having DAILY NUTRITION verify and approve the facts panels on repeat orders.

 

Incoming physical labels will be reviewed against approved label on file AND current formula during incoming inspection. Labels that do not comply MAY BE REJECTED. If there are any formula or FDA changes that necessitate a label change, you are responsible for replacing the labels in our inventory and all associated costs. Labels must be compatible with our production equipment. (#3 Rewind for machine application.)
